labslab 5

prior to lab

Do the following before arriving to lab 5:

  • Make sure that you have completed lab 4
  • Print out the "during lab 5" portions of this lab. It will be easier for you to follow along with a printout of the lab in front of you during class.
  • Make final decisions (if possible) about your navigation - if you know the exact navigation you want for your site you can build it this week.
  • Make sure that your UNIX account is working and that you remember your login id and password. Both will be necessary for this lab.

Video Training Help

videosThe videos below will reinforce what you learned in class. The training is available for students that miss class or need extra help in using Dreamweaver. The Adobe flash player must be installed to view the training videos. Your monitor resolution must be at least 1024 by 768 to view the entire video screen. The seven videos below will guide you through all of the necessary steps to create a starter file for your web site. This starter file can be used to build many pages in a short period of time. As you build your own starter file be sure to choose the colors, table width, and all the other features based on what you like rather than just using what you find in these videos.
