Through this program between universities in the U.S. and Brazil, undergraduate students from each of these two countries will have the opportunity to study in the other country during one semester and learn about how technology is implemented in different contexts to better integrate people with disabilities as productive members of their respective societies. Thus, in addition to enriching their education with innovative, hands-on instruction on a subject of crucial importance, students will experience the excitement of traveling abroad, practice a second language, and making new friends in a culturally diverse atmosphere.
