A 40 year old "street person" collapsed and 911 was called. At the hospital the initial diagnosis was "seizures". Further examination revealed an upper quadrantic homonymous hemianopsia of the left visual field. There was also an inability to name familiar objects. Other aspects of the exam were within normal limits.
